The journey surrounding The Beauty Of It All reaches its final chapter with two new interpretations from Acid Pauli and Steve Bug.
Released on July 10 via Embassy One, the new package features Acid Pauli’s remix of “Powerful Play” alongside Steve Bug’s rework of “Promised Land”. Built from two distinctly different creative perspectives, both versions preserve the emotional character at the heart of Monolink’s songwriting.
The release concludes a remix series that has gradually expanded the universe of Monolink’s third studio album, originally released in September 2025 and shaped around themes of beauty, impermanence and human connection.
Acid Pauli Reshapes “Powerful Play”
Acid Pauli’s interpretation of “Powerful Play” unfolds through a loose and continuously evolving structure, built around gradual movement, subtle rhythmic details and melodic fragments that shift throughout the track.
Rather than following an obvious progression, the remix moves naturally between introspective passages and more kinetic moments. Organic and psychedelic elements give the production a sense of freedom, allowing it to develop without feeling restricted by a traditional club arrangement.

The collaboration also carries a deeper connection between the two artists. Monolink and Acid Pauli first worked together on The End EP in 2015, combining songwriting, guitar, vocals and electronic production within a deeply narrative musical language.
More than a decade later, Acid Pauli returns to Monolink’s world with a remix that does not attempt to completely transform “Powerful Play”. Instead, it opens new spaces within the composition. The original remains clearly recognisable, while its structure becomes more fluid, unpredictable and immersive.
Steve Bug Takes “Promised Land” into a More Restrained Space
Steve Bug approaches “Promised Land” from a different direction.

His reinterpretation strips the composition back to its most functional elements, building steady movement through controlled grooves, subtle acid details and tension that develops without relying on dramatic peaks.
The result is elegant and measured: a dancefloor-focused production that retains the sensitivity of Monolink’s original. Its strength does not come from the number of elements in the arrangement, but from the space and purpose given to each sound.
This approach reflects Steve Bug’s long-standing creative language, where precision, restraint and movement become the tools through which “Promised Land” takes on a new form.
Two Interpretations, One Emotional Core
The closing chapter of the remix series demonstrates how easily Monolink’s songwriting can adapt to different electronic languages without losing its identity.
Acid Pauli works through freedom, psychedelia and transformation. Steve Bug moves through control, depth and reduction. Their versions appear to travel in opposite directions, yet they arrive at the same destination: revealing new possibilities inside the original compositions.
More than functional club reworks, these remixes become extensions of the world surrounding The Beauty Of It All. They show how a song can change its structure, rhythm and atmosphere while keeping its emotional centre intact.
