Montreal-based label Nights of Solace introduces its first release, “Tides Volume I,” a nine-track VA compilation built around connection, movement and the emotional power of electronic music.
Nights of Solace defines itself not only as a label, but as a space for music that leaves a lasting impact. Its ethos is rooted in community, creativity, integrity, empowerment, compassion, connection and balance, values that shape both the label’s identity and the artists selected for its debut release.
A Nine-Track Debut Compilation
“Tides Volume I” brings together a diverse group of artists across nine tracks, including Elias Erium, NotMeghan, Just Sky, Anaïs Ley, Tyler Mesa, Joseph Nakouzi, Blake Walker (CA), Frey (CA) and LUNR.
The compilation moves through melodic, progressive and deep electronic spaces, capturing the label’s focus on music that works beyond simple genre definitions. Each track feels connected by a shared intention: creating moments that move through a room and stay with the listener after the music ends.
Early Support and Melodic Deep Premieres
Before release, “Tides Volume I” has already received early support from names including Hernan Cattaneo, Sinca, Simply City, Chris Fortier, Nick Stoynoff, Elliot Moriaty, Lloyd Barwood, Nicolas Rada, Moonbeam and more.
Melodic Deep also premiered two tracks from the compilation: Anaïs Ley — “Afterlight” and Just Sky — “Retrograde.” Both tracks offer a strong entry point into the world of Nights of Solace, highlighting the emotional and atmospheric direction behind the label’s first VA.
